Agriculture waste materials, agro-industrial wastes, rejected organic substrates, residues from processing industries, coir dust, rejected fruits, vegetables, kernels and etc. are rich in nutrients such as NPK, Calcium, Magnesium, Sulphur and micronutrients. Unfortunately only a part of the substances are converted into valuable compost and a major portion of the organic substances are unattended or dumped. Recent trends in advanced biotechnological innovations help the farmers to convert the wastes into valuable compost (compost is converted into super compost). The waste materials of agriculture origin are rich in cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, pectin, proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, aromatics, minerals, vitamins and etc.

Consortium of bacteria, fungi and actinomycetes could play a pivotal role in rapid decomposition of organic substances. We have developed microbial consortium for effective degradation of organic substances. DEGRA-I is a bacterial formulation and DEGRA-II, a fungal formulation. By combining these two formulations, we can degrade organic substances. One litre each of these two products can be mixed together in 200 litres of water and sprayed on 2-3 tons of organic waste materials. Organic substances can be added layer by layer and apply each one litre of DEGRA-I and DEGRA-II for every 3 tons of organic wastes. The heap of organic waste materials should not be more than 3 feet. Leave this set up under shadow for about 45 days – 60 days period and during this course of the process check the moisture content and make sure that 20% moisture is maintained. In such optimal condition the microbes duplicate quickly. At the end of the process the organic manure is ready and it can be applied in your soil.
